everal students at the Ameson Institute in Nanjing have been admitted to U.S. universities through Early Decision.Wang Tianwei -- Education, Vanderbilt University
Tianwei is from Nanjing No. 1 Middle School, one of the most prestigious high school in the city of Nanjing. Always being independent, she has had a clear plan for her career since her senior 1 year. Though she has been busy doing a regular senior high school curriculum, she still makes time for the AP courses. In addition, she demonstrated in her application her views of education studies in a globalized world. “I have been interested in culture exchange and communication since I was very young. Doing education studies also helps to disseminate Chinese culture to the U.S.. I want to teach Mandarin in the future and I listed outlines of how to achieve that in my application.” Tianwei says.
Speaking of Ameson, Tianwei particularly wants to thank Professor Sean Zhang, who provides advice for the application, her tutor Enda, Vivian and Dee, who helped her improve English speaking, and polished her writing abilities.
Having worked really hard toward her dream, she is known by her teachers as a “workaholic”. However, besides studying, Tianwei’s hobbies include gardening, playing American pool, playing piano, reading novels and photography. Now she is ready to embrace a whole new world while studying abroad.
